Kanye West & Rihanna- All of The Lights

Rihanna and Kanye on the same track? Sounds like a hit once again. As if “Run This Town” wasn’t a hard enough hit, Kanye and Rihanna are back at it with a new single “All of The Lights”.
Kanye West and Rihanna are both one of a kind, unique and inspiring artists. Both individuals go above and beyond the expectation given in the music industry.  Rihanna was honored when rapper Kanye West invited her to collaborate on the song. Only a snippet was released to the public and with that being said I have no doubt in my mind that the full song in its entirety won’t be as well. The song is said to have several artist featured on it. Artists such as Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Elton John (on piano), Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams and La Roux singer Elly Jackson. With all of the featuring artists the song is just under five minutes…Amazing. The song is one of the many n his most anticipated album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” which is scheduled to hit the stores and become available to the public November 22, 2010

Some things are meant to be left unsaid or undone...

The inspiration for this blog came from another blog I have read from "Touch My Swag??...Wish You Could"
Please click the link to this video and watch it before reading the rest of the blog.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvvW1vCN3ZU&feature=related

I’m going to have to admit that the video at the beginning of the video was absolutely hilarious. On the other hand, the point the guy is trying to prove doesn’t justify anything at all. I feel that a person can wear whatever they please if it fits their body type and it’s fashionable. What you may think is fashionable may be wack as hell to others but at the end of the day fashion is a PERSONAL style. Now I’m not saying that all skinnies are cool and open to everyone. You know what works for you and what doesn’t work, so keep it sensible. #justsaying

Some individuals are so oblivious and blind that it doesn’t make any sense. Some people think that because Lady GaGa, Nicki Minaj, or Kanye West can pull off the crazy fashion and weird personality, but what they don’t realize is that what may work for GaGa and Kanye just might not work for them. Here are a few pictures of examples of the misunderstood copy cats.
Perfect Example- This is really degrading to try and mock Nicki Minaj's beauty lol.

Next is a video of a lady GaGa impersonator that went wrong. Click the link to watch

Last but not least there is a video link that shows the obsession overload of a Kanye West fan. Yeah um no where near the swag of Kanye lol nice try though. ... not really.

Albums That Just May Be Worth Buying...

Instead of raping limewire or some other illegal file sharing website to download music from your favorite artists I suggest everyone go out and pick up Drake’s new album entitled “Thank Me Later” Rick Ross’s Album “Teflon Don” and Eminem’s “Recovery. I’m not gonna lie I’m usually the last to say go out and buy something but I feel that the particular artists have out in work and they deserve the credit in the end. There wasn’t one song on each of the albums that I didn’t agree with. I found myself obsessed with Rick Ross’s Teflon Don Album and I’m far from the typical person that may listen to the album…#justsaying. Eminem’s Recovery Album was deep and moving. Not only did he put his whole mind and soul into the album but he also did collaboration with one of my favorite female Artists…Rihanna. People can call her evil, say she can’t sing or call her ugly, I know in my mind that Rihanna is talented and that has nothing to do with the fact that she has the perfect body and beauty almost equivalent to an angel. On the other hand, Drake, the new Lil Wayne if you ask me, has dropped his album and it is filled with punch line from singing to rapping… young man is brilliant with words. The three male rappers, Drake Eminem and Rick Ross are taking over the music industry and upholding the definition of what it really means to be a male rapper. Sometimes it’s not about how much weed you’ve smoked, what type of guns you have or how “bad” you think you are. If every rapper could get past that egoistical stage and/or personality then the music industry (as far as rap) wouldn’t be half bad. Don’t forget to go out and get Drake’s new album entitled “Thank Me Later” Rick Ross’s Album “Teflon Don” and Eminem’s “Recovery…ASAP

Get Out There and Make Music Not War

It’s funny how the entertainment industry changes throughout the years. At first it was about the old school rap with bright colors and high top fades and now rap (in my opinion) has transformed to be this ego surfing genre that erupts at the sound of competition. An example would be between two rival hip hop and R&B female artists: Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj. The two both are great artist who have set trends, broken records and represented females unquestionably in the music industry. Once again both are amazingly beautiful women who share similar interests and views on a female’s position in the music industry. Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim are accidently in some ways alike that they envy each other for the same reasons that make no sense at all. It’s all jealously in Kim’s part if you ask me, and Nicki Minaj is continuing it to keep her name good and protect herself.
Lil’ Kim claims that she feels disrespected that Nicki doesn’t pay her homage because of the road she has paved for Nicki. I mean in not really understanding what Lil’ Kim is really asking for. Does she want Nicki to say her name in every rhyme she writes or to include her in every music video? Lil Kim is a bit too old to act this infantile and/or childish, but hey “it be like that sometimes”. Nicki Minaj or Lil’ Kim it doesn’t matter just get out there and make music!

“Eminem and his ‘Shady’ Aftermath”

Marshall Bruce Mathers III, Eminem, Slim Shady actor, songwriter, producer and rapper. Who is Marshal Mathers really? What does he really stand for?  Is he the rough nonchalant “asshole” the media knows him to be? Marshal (Eminem) may be described as being a tough, attention seeking, egotistical maniac but he is without a doubt more than that. He may rant and rave about the rough and relentless times he has endured but it’s only fair to give someone who has been living a disturbed and abused lifestyle a chance to be heard. As a juvenile Marshal tolerated much pain and witnessed more than any youngster should have to. From his mother being on drugs heavily and witnessing her infuse drugs in her system and be continuously beaten by her sex or life partners to not having an influential father or “father-figure” in reach to being ignored and teased daily Eminem managed is stress load well. As his life took twist and turns for the worst he somehow established an infatuation for rap. Stardom began to arise quickly for Mr. Mathers once he had met his mentor Dr. Dre. He had landed number 1 on the pop charts for several singles and albums. Recognition is definitely not an issue. He has won several awards and is greatly admired by many for his works that are most likely controversial but loaded with content that nourishes my soul and appeals to my liking. His lyrics serve as motivational literature that in fact helps me better relate to him as a person, behind the fame and fortune.
Eminem fell flat on his back once the music industry became overwhelming to him. . From lawsuits to drug abuse and addiction Marshal Mathers (Eminem) had seen it all and it wasn’t pleasing. As a matter of fact, Mr. Mather’s entire album(recent album in 2010), Recovery, was dedicated and fashioned to display his “comeback” in the music industry and his new-fangled command or control on life. “Recovery” is reportedly the seventh album he has generated. The identity and title of the album significantly suggests a strong and in depth past Marshal once fell into.

Onika Nicki Minaj Maraj

Onika Maraj was born on December 8, 1984. She was raised and grew up in the rough street of Southside Jamaica Queens, New York. From the start Onika knew she was destined to be something amazing. She was not awarded with a glamorous life in her childhood years and that’s what motivated her to strive for even greater success. With an absent and on drugs father and a single and struggle mother Maraj began to demand more out of life. Despite the environment she was raised in Onika attended school on the regular from the traditional elementary, middle and high school settings. She attended LaGuardia High School in Manhattan, New York where her addiction and love struck passion for singing and acting began to arise.

She began to study the study as the played hand in hand with one another as far as technique and performance is concerned. Moving forward she graduated from LaGuardia High and progressed to be an administrative assistant and dedicated all of her leisure time to learning the works of the music industry so that she can set up the foundation to her potential music career.

Her music career took a leap where she started off as a background singer for hooks and vocals for local rappers. Onika wasn’t satisfied with this effort to make it big so she moved on to "stand out" more. Maraj began writing her own raps. Later becoming one of the members in a small female group she gained little but no recognition so left that group in 2006. After the putting her music and lyrics out and making it known, she was later recognized on MySpace by Dirt Money CEO Fendi who signed her on his music label and his "come up" DVD.

Just as things started to rise for Onika she was then noticed by the well known and successful rapper Lil Wayne and that’s when Onika Maraj got her big start. Onika Maraj was no longer, she transformed into a bigger and better person letting her show name or alter ego is "Nicki Minaj". And the success flew and reached out to millions of fans in a matter of minutes. Nicki is now known for her different style of rapping and her ability to write full on her own material.

Lauryn Hill: Today, Tomorrow, Forever

The year the civil war began in Lebanon, the year the Weather Underground bombed the U.S. State Department main office in Washington D.C., and the year the Birmingham six were wrongfully sentenced to life imprisonment in Great Britain an awe-inspiring individual was born. May 26, 1975 Lauryn Noelle Hill was born in South Orange, New Jersey of Mal and Valerie Hill. Lauryn grew up in with a passion for the art of singing and literature. When she was just 13 years old at the youthful state of her life she appeared on the Apollo competition show and lost. With a strong and determined heart and approach at life juvenile Lauryn began to perform in a band later named “The Fugees” with that she began acting and soaring high into the transition of being overwhelmed by fame. Naturally everyone would kill to live the life of a superstar or someone of a famous or well known caliber but for Lauryn it was too much. Later on scoring big with a hit Album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, she won several Grammies and hit the charts high as far as celebrity status is concerned. Ms. Hill began to endure the pressure early on and began to take a back seat to the fame as her troubles, or what the media took as troubles, started to unfold.
Without a doubt Lauryn’s height of success took a toll on her. She didn’t have a minute in the day where there wasn’t something going on. She wanted to be a regular person. She tried to accommodate everybody at all time. It was also said that Lauryn was also being advised from a different spiritual adviser, someone who had absolute control of her decision making. Together with the new spiritual leader came Rohan Marley, son of Bob Marley and father to Lauryn’s kids. With the media’s stress, expectation from her fans, and many errors in her love life Lauryn Noelle Hill was going through it all at such a young and defining age. Lauryn reportedly went into hiding and a state of depression when things began to fail and decline in her life. She soaked herself in the ways of her anonymous spiritual advisor and took a break from the celebrity life. The more she stayed away in captivity the more confused at life she became. With her unmindful to reality she appeared bizarre to her fans and people in general. Some say she did it to get away from the limelight, to get people to leave her alone.
Through good times, the bad ones, the happy and the sad ones Lauryn Noelle Hill –singer, songwriters, actress, and producer has set historical records and broken the barrier as far as female to male rap is concerned. Through her raspy but unique voice spills out success and offers the intelligence of a one of a kind star. History has been stated as something that can be without a doubt proven with substantial facts to accompany it… the works and existence of Lauryn Noelle Hill unquestionably will remain an act of history that will reign for years to come; today, tomorrow and forever.
